Volkswagen unveils the 2022 Taos

First things first, what’s the Taos?
Named after a town in New Mexico, the Taos is a compact SUV slotted under the Tiguan in the Volkswagen lineup. The Taos is the fifth new addition to the Volkswagen SUV family in just four years. The goal is to give buyers all the style, technology and drivability for an affordable price.
What features can I expect from the Taos?
The exterior of the Taos will be bold with a sculpted hood and LED light signature. The top trim level will feature LED headlights with the Adaptive front-lighting System. There will be eight exterior colors to choose between to personalize the Taos to suit your style. Some of the latest technologies will be implemented like the Volkswagen Car-Net with in-car WiFi capability, wireless App-Connect and an eight-inch touchscreen with voice control.
Dimensions of the Taos
From nose to tail, the 2022 Volkswagen Taos is 175.8 inches long with a wheelbase of 105.9 inches. Inside there is a roomy 99.5 cubic feet of cargo space to utilize. Behind the second row, there are 28.1 cubic feet of space and 66.3 cubic feet when the seats are folded down. When it comes to the legroom, there is 40.1 inches in the front and 37.9 inches in the rear.
