We’ve all been a little coped up. Luckily, there are quite a few parks around the Ventura area to take advantage of to get some fresh air. We have put a list together of some of the top-rated parks. Keep reading to find some inspiration.
Arroyo Verde Park
If you are looking for a mixture of hiking and recreational fun, Arroyo Verde Park has a variety. This park offers grills, picnic tables and a playground as well as hiking paths to enjoy more of the scenery. The hiking loops are perfect for families and beginners.
Camino Real Park
Looking for a place to enjoy some fresh air while having access to sport areas? Camino Real Park has eight tennis courts, sand volleyball, adult and youth ball fields and play areas for kids. Bring along your fur babies to enjoy the dog parks as well.
If you want more of a coastal view, Grant Park is the place to go. This 107-acre park is on top of a hill to give sweeping views of the coastline. Grant Park is located in Ventura Botanical Gardens.
Right along the oceanfront, Marina Park is sprinkled with palm trees for a picturesque view. There is a giant ship playground for kids to play in as well as a volleyball court. This park is pet friendly, so bring your dogs along for a fun filled day.
